Project / Program purpose and objectives The current UI benefits system operates on an outdated platform that requires extensive programming with heavy maintenance constraint and limited resources. DLI has executed a contract with FAST Enterprises to modernize the UI's Benefits System. The FASTUI Benefits solution will at a minimum allow for an updated operating system that will be agile enough to incorporate changes to UI insurance laws and reporting requirements as needed through A modular or integrated approach . The FASTUI Benefits solution will support the entire claim and tax process.

Project / Program purpose and objectives The desired system will at a minimum fully support the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I and Title III program requirements, including the PIRL reporting requirements, and may include functionality to support other common workforce programs such as (ETPL) Eligible Training Provider List, (WOTC)Work Opportunity Tax Credit (RESEA) Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment, (TAA) Trade Adjustment Assistance and Apprenticeship. DLI is still in a discovery phase. No vendor or software choice has been selected to date
