Goals

Update: Initiated Phase 1 Database and Lobbyist Application Modernization (DLAM) March 2020. Replacement of Oracle system was considered, however, modernizing the current Oracle database and applications was more time and cost effective approach.

Objectives

  • Secure funding needed to develop new system as per the quote generated by SITSD.
    Update: SITSD secured funds 2019 legislative session.
  • Engage SITSD to develop and deploy new system.
    Update: Worked with SITSD to secure Sapiens (Formally Stone River) as vendor for Database and Lobbyist Modernization (DLAM) project February/March 2020.
  • Transition away from the current Oracle system to the new system developed by SITSD
    Update: Sapiens initiated Database and Lobbyist Modernization (DLAM) project March 2020 with Phase 1 completion date scheduled for November 2020 and Phase 2 completion June 2021
  • Add two new drawers to the Perceptive Content system for storing imaged lobbying and principal
    files.
    Update: Completed Perceptive Content hard copy system for Lobbyist and Principal storage in 2019. STISD moving from Perceptive to IBM system Fall of 2020, initiated transfer process July 2020.

Update: Initiated and completed identified various CERS updates that provided for a more intuitive user interface and additional usability for candidate and committees. Also provided additional transparency for public.

  • Identify problems as they arise
    Update: Ongoing
  • Work with our vendor, Stone River, to create solutions and continue to improve the system.
    Update: Stone River is now Sapiens. Ongoing

Update: Completed June of 2020.

Objectives

  • Work with SITSD to transition to VDI during the first or second quarter of FY 2019.
    Update: SITSD moved transition to FY2020
